Go-To Aldi Items

As promised on my Grocery saving post, I have compiled a list of items that I buy from Aldi. This may seem like a short list, but that is only because I’m including items that I’ve personally purchased and used. I’ll make sure to add to it as I try new things!

Go-To Items:

Oatmeal (instant packets & rolled oats)

Fruit Snacks

Salsa & Queso

Kettle Chips

Hummus

Eggs

Milk

Cheese (block, shredded, and sliced)

Butter (I’ve only tried the sticks)

Frozen Hamburger

Frozen Chicken (tenderloins and breasts)

Ice Cream

Bread

English Muffins

Lunch Meat

Cream Cheese

Pasta

Pasta Sauce

Crackers

Pretzels

Pickles

Honey

Nuts

Applesauce

Pop-Tarts

Granola Bars

Spices

Brats

Hot Dogs

Baking items (flour, chocolate chips, sugar, etc)

Tortillas

Stay Away From

Chocolate Syrup (not at all like Hersey’s)

Cereal

Name Brand Items – usually more expensive then the normal grocery store

Their version of Tostino’s Pizza

One thing I will not include on this list is produce. That is because it can really vary depending on your location. There are some days where the produce at my Aldi is great, and some times when it’s worth skipping. I would advise to really look at your produce before buying, just to be safe. Have any items you’d like to add to either list? Comment Below!
